Painter Pierre Jean-Louis has a thing for Black hair. The Tri-state area artist regularly uses Black women and their gorgeous manes as inspiration for his work.
Jean-Louis’ muses are a mixture of famous women and sisters on the ‘gram, but each receive a beautiful interpretation of her hair.
Jean-Louis uses the mobile photography app Enlight to turn his models’ thick locks into a work of art inspired by Mother Nature.
We all know how flexible Black hair can be, but Jean-Louis’ work shows it can be a stunning work of high art as well.
And we love it!
